I have research expertise in polymer
crystallization
and structure in complex systems, macromolecular
adhesion to ceramics, and polymeric scaffold structures
for tissue regeneration. I attended at the University
of Illinois in Urbana, Champaign, where I obtained
my M.S. and Ph.D. under Professor Phillip Geil
in network polymer properties and curing and
polymer characterization. I also wish to acknowledge
additional work in polymer rubber elasticity at Risų Danish
National Laboratories as a visiting scientist. I have
diverse industrial experience in ultrasonic processing
techniques (Kimberly Clark Corporation),
pressure sensitive adhesives (National Starch
and Chemical Company), and regenerative medical
devices (Integra LifeSciences Corporation).
I have publications in journals ranging from J. Appl. Polym.
Sci. to Macromolecules, and have won awards for
my technical presentations (American Society for Composites).
