Adducts and curable compositions using same
Burns et al of Loctite and Henkel have improved the properties of thermosets
including toughness with polymeric curing agents based on functionalized
polyethers.

Dispersant viscosity modifiers based on diene-containing polymers
Kolp et al of Lubrizol have developed a dispsersant for fuels and lubricants
in heavy duty diesel engines to keep soot dispersed and reduce viscosity
increases. This dispersant consists of isobutylene diene copolymers with 1
to 4 equivalents carboxylic acid groups per 1000 units combined with amines.
Laakso and Marchand’s crosslinking system consist of a polymercapto crosslinking agent, and inorganic base and a quaternary ammonium salt.
