PVC calendering is a more complicated technique, requiring a
hot mixer and a
fusion machine like kneading to complete the gelling stage. This step is
followed by feeding the PVC into the Calender rolls to be PVC sheet. Calendering
sheet can be treated, either mechanically or chemically. This process can
produce rigid sheets, soft sheets, PVC film, sponge sheets, artificial leather
and others.
