Welcome to the Thomas Group.  These are the persons registered who are together in the search for a consistent philosophy of life, faith or whatever you wish to call it.

Why ?

One of the peculiarities of the human condition is that we want explanations.  We want a reason for things.  Our curiosity pushes us to the Why? behind things.  We also tend to explain our actions on answers to the Why?. Our creeds are statements of Why and so on.  One could say our basic humanity is this search for the Why? . 

One part of the Faith model is the Community of Faith. In my model, this is part of the Kingdom of God.  In the practice of Faith this community is extremely important.  It provides inspiration, help, and so on.

Conversations with others have been important in my own Faith Journey.  It is even more important in this model building.  This feed back is necessary in constructing each piece.

Who?

Anyone interested is part of this group.  Even the unknown reader who regularly visits this site but remains anonymous is part of the group. Those who anonymously comment contribute even more.  All comments are considered and incorporated in some way to my model building.

The second group, the Thomas Group are those registered and now and then comment.  These comments are kept, considered and incorporated into the model.  No point is necessarily accepted as part of the model but it goes into the dialogue.

How?

Register by sending an email to roger@marop.com.  Include the following:

1. A request to join the Group.

2.  Name, Address, Telephone, Fax and email address
3. Education background
4. Religious Background

5. A brief description of one's own model

6. Objective

7. A paragraph introducing you to the Group.

8. Documentation:  If you are a stranger, I would some independent way of verifying who you are. If you know someone in the Group, list his name.  If you already know RDC, no verification is necessary.  You are already verified. If you are complete stranger to the group, give a name of someone we can check with or an organization where you are a member.  The Intenet is a strange place, we can invent our identity.  One thing I would like to emphasize in this group is honesty and be as truthful as possible.  I would like the listed members of the group to be as real as possible.
