Maro Alerts
Every other week or more (30 to 40 email messages per year), email messages are sent to subscribers with links to recent US and World Patents and recent journal articles on topics chosen by the subscriber. The Topic may be changed at anytime. To start send the topic to cornelre@bee.net and sign up using the above "Buy Now" bottom.

Personal Alerts
Every subscriber is given unrestricted access to past findings through a login and password. This will be given as soon as the subscription begins.
Personal Alerts are intended to be used by the subscriber only and not distributed to others including work groups. In that case the corporate subscription is required.
1 Week --- $20
1 Month --- $50
3 Months --- $150
6 Months --- $200
1 Year --- $300

Corporate Alerts
In this case the Alerts may be distributed as needed either
within a site or globally depending on the subscription. However, they are
never to be distributed outside the subscribing organization.
One site (6 separate individual personal subscriptions) --- $1000 /year
Global: (12 separate individual persona subscriptions) --- $2000
/year
Many busy professionals don't have the time to review the patent and article lists. For them Maro offers the Personal Alert Service. The Personal Alerts subscriber selects a Topic. Then, during each collection the patent and article links are set aside and later sent to the subscriber. In addition, complete Article Lists can be sent for specific Journals selected by the subscriber.
Both Maro and the subscriber must agree on the Topic and Journal Selections. Maro reserves the right to refuse some topics or selections if delivery requires an unreasonable effort or is outside Maro's normal review range. Another consideration is the number of hits per message. Some Topics may have a hit only occasionally, perhaps every couple of months or so. It is strongly recommended that a Topic be selected with weekly hits even if the topic, then, has to be more general. However, if the occasional hit is ok with the subscriber, it is okay with Maro. Topics should be more general than very specific because often that fringe article may be the most important find. Click on Sample for sample entries of an Alerts message.
Subscribers may change their Topic at any time by email. Changes will take effect during the next review and will not be retroactive.
In general, the hits are collected during each Maro review and the messages sent weekly, one message a week. Occasionally, due to vacations and other kinds events such as an SPE ANTEC, there will be breaks in the service. If a week or even a month is missed, the missing weeks of patents will be reviewed as well as all published polymer journal issues. Only current non-polymer issues will be reviewed and no attempt will be made to cover every non-polymer journal. In the end the coverage will be as complete as possible.
The Personal Alerts subscriber will also have unlimited access to the website. Each subscriber will be given a login and password without additional charge.
The annual fee for Personal Alerts is $300 per year per subscriber. It is intended that the Alerts are for the Personal Subscriber only and not a group or other members of a company. If a group or other company members are involved, the corporate rate applies.
If the subscriber is an employee of a Corporate subscriber, there is no charge if the company has not used its quota of Personal Subscribers. If the quota has been used, the extra charge is $100 per year per extra subscriber.
To subscribe, click on the "Buy Now" button above and purchase the annual subscription or send an email to cornelrd@bee.net requesting a subscription. The reviews will start immediately and an invoice will be sent.
